    Franchement, c'est vrai que les rouleaux ne peuvent pas être considérés comme 100 % fiables mais la question de savoir si celui-ci ou celui de Emile von Sauer semble accéléré parce que la vitesse est irréaliste est une fausse question, n'importe quelle virtuose peut le jouer à ce tempo là ou même plus rapidement les études de Liszt dans leur version définitive ne sont pas injouables, c'est à dessein que Liszt les a rendues moins inhumaines afin que la transcendance soit autant musicale que technique. Pour ce qui est des capacités pyrotechniques il suffit d'écouter les études Chopin Godowsky qui peuvent se révéler bien plus difficiles mais aussi infiniment moins belles que les études transcendantes de Liszt.

    Il y a les bons pianistes, puis les très bons, ensuite il y a les excellents et enfin il y a les pianistes exceptionnels, Richter est de ceux-là ! Ils sont rares et très peu, on les compte sur les doigts d'une seule main. Et oui, l'exception n'est pas la règle du tout venant.

    I've heard many interpreter of Scriabin, all excellent and talented, able to give them own mark on playing Scriabin, but Safronitsky is the one who just entered in the Scriabin's opera in so elegant, touching and sensitive way. No one as him.

    Awesome! But the recording itself seems to me interestingly outstanding, you can hear clearly each outlined part from the orchestra with enough clarity and detail, is very interesting and the orchestra players are also just amazing (the articulation is so clear and the phasing is beautiful). I guess there’s a clear idea of a sound design somehow there (forgive my short vocabulary to name it properly), is so clean and same time so expressive ❤
